Computer Use & Print Services
The Georgetown Township Public Library provides access to computers, networks, and Internet services as a means to enhance patrons' informational, educational, research, and enrichment opportunities consistent with the Library's mission and to ensure that residents have free and open access to ideas and information. Computers for those under 18 are located near the Circulation Desk while computers for adults are located on the 2nd floor by the Information Desk. Computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Patrons are required to log in using a valid library card from any Lakeland Library Cooperative library or a library-issued guest pass.
Users of the library’s computers or internet access must adhere to the Internet use Policy. Failure to follow these guidelines will result in the loss of the ability to use library computers/internet. All library-owned public computers and wireless connections are filtered.
Wi-Fi
The library offers wireless internet access. The wireless signal is accessible areas of the library and the password is posted throughout the library or available by asking a library staff member.
Printing
There is a charge of $0.25 per page for prints or copies.
Mobile Printing
Printing is also available via your mobile device and is $0.25 per page. Please ask for assistance at any of the service desks.
Document Scanning
Scanning of documents is FREE of charge. Documents can be e-mailed to any valid e-mail address. Please ask at the Info Desk for assistance.
Fax Services
There is a charge of $1.00 per page for faxes sent or received. Please ask at the Info Desk for assistance.
Staff Assistance
Library staff is happy to provide assistance to library users getting started on the internet, however, the library cannot guarantee that staff will be available to assist users at all times the library is open. Because of the many different applications available on computers, staff may not be able to provide specialized or technical knowledge about a particular application. For one-on-one assistance, please consider registering for one of our monthly Talk with a Tech sessions.
