Join our winter reading program for kids ages 3-12! This program is modeled on the Iditarod sled dog race through Alaska. Kids will read their way through each checkpoint on the race route. At certain major checkpoints, kids receive a small prize! Tracking for this program will be on paper logs, available at the library or on our website to print at home! Everyone who finishes the race by March 17th gets a special finisher prize and a "ticket" to our special finishers only party, with an Iditarod themed movie and treats! To sign up, stop by the circulation desk to collect and decorate your dog. It will be placed at the starting line when you register and you can move it along the route each time you reach a new stop!

Want to try cooking or baking something new but aren't sure where to begin? Pick up a Spice of Life: Grab & Go Kit from the library. Each month will feature a new recipe with the different herbs and spices needed for the dish. The kits are first come, first serve, while supplies last! No registration is required. One kit per person, please. This month's feature is Caraway Rye Crackers. Kits will be available starting at 10 AM.

Join us for a fun hour of exploring with playdough! During this drop-in program, we'll have playdough, tools, and some other fun accessories for you to use. Working with playdough is great for using and advancing fine motor skills, developing hand-eye coordination, encouraging imagination, and promoting math and literacy development. All ages welcome.

Enjoy a free movie! Bring a lunch or just enjoy some free snacks provided by the library.

Ages 8+ (some children may need the help of a parent to complete the model). Registration required. Come learn to build giant robots in a tiny form!! This is an introductory class lead by the owner of Leaping Panda Hobbies that will explain the basics of model building and the lore behind Gundam. Participants will get to choose between one of the two kits to build. Parents are encouraged to stay and learn about the models and benefits of building.
