Handmade Scarf and Hat Collection: Operation Gratitude

GTPL and Operation Gratitude are collecting hand crocheted and knit scarves and hats for overseas military members. Donations are due at the library by Nov 20 so they can be mailed. Guidelines Use size 4 worsted weight yarn for hats and scarves Each scarf must measure between 4"-5" wide and 48"- 50" long. No pom-poms on hats You may include a note on regular paper rolled into your item

Community Canvas

Show us your talent! No matter what age you are, we want to see your creativity. Stop by the library and pick up a canvas (while supplies last); paint on it, draw on it, make a collage on it, etc. Then return it by November 10th and we will display it in time for the community to see at the Community Tree Lighting event. Limit one canvas per person.

Adult Chat & Craft: Pressed Flower Lanterns

Chat a little, craft a little. Come to the library and chat with other adults. This month we will be making pressed flower lanterns. Chat and Craft registration for the next month opens on the date of the program at 8am.

Sign up for a 25 minute slot with our resident tech guru who will answer your questions and walk you through troubles with your devices.

LEGO Club

Kids ages 6 - 13 years old are invited to bring a one gallon re-closable storage bag of their own building bricks to the Library. Each child will have 45 minutes to create something around the theme that will be announced that afternoon, or they can free-build! We do not have LEGOs for everyone, children must bring their own. Registration required. New Policy: If you register for a children's program and don't attend (without canceling your registration by the start of the program) twice in a row, you will not be able to register for children's programs for one month. You may stop by at the start of a program to see if there's room and you may still attend drop-in programs.
