Handmade Scarf and Hat Collection: Operation Gratitude

GTPL and Operation Gratitude are collecting hand crocheted and knit scarves and hats for overseas military members. Donations are due at the library by Nov 20 so they can be mailed. Guidelines Use size 4 worsted weight yarn for hats and scarves Each scarf must measure between 4"-5" wide and 48"- 50" long. No pom-poms on hats You may include a note on regular paper rolled into your item

Community Canvas

Show us your talent! No matter what age you are, we want to see your creativity. Stop by the library and pick up a canvas (while supplies last); paint on it, draw on it, make a collage on it, etc. Then return it by November 10th and we will display it in time for the community to see at the Community Tree Lighting event. Limit one canvas per person.

Local History Room Staffed Hours

The Local History Room is staffed by members of the Jenison Historical Association and can be accessed on Wednesday from 11AM-1PM. Volunteers can help you with local history and genealogical research. The room can be accessed by using the stairs to the lower level (past the vending machines) or the elevator in the Township Office.

A casual setting to share your writing and receive encouragement and advice. Led by Jeremy Cook.

Adult Yoga Class

Join our community for a one-hour, gentle flow class with yoga teacher Jami Kok. This class is thoughtfully designed for all skill levels. Please bring your own mat or towel and meet us in the lower-level basement program room.
