Georgetown Charter Township Public Library
Show us your talent! No matter what age you are, we want to see your creativity. Stop by the library and pick up a canvas (while supplies last) before November 13th; paint on it, draw on it, make a collage on it, etc. Then return it by November 20th and we will display it in time for the community to see at the Community Tree Lighting event on November 30th.
TEENS! Explore your creativity by making Tiny Art to share with the community!
In conjunction with out Community Canvas, stop by the library and pick up a tiny canvas (while supplies last); paint on it, draw on it, make a collage on it, etc. Then return it by November 20th and we will display it in time for the community to see at the Community Tree Lighting event on November 30th.
The Reading and Writing With Ann Frank exhibit from The Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect will be on display upstairs behind the information desk through November 30. This large exhibit is bright and colorful and it celebrates Anne the girl and the writer, rather than her fate.
Stop by the library lobby and pick up some used book bargains.
Georgetown Charter Township Public Library Large Programming Room (Basement)
Teens ages 13-17 are invited to spend their afterschool time at the library. Each week we will have board games, video games, craft supplies, snacks, and more available to teens to enjoy. We will also have special craft days, movie days, and even pizza days. This is a drop-in program so no registration is required and teens may arrive/leave anytime during the program.
Georgetown Charter Township Public Library Children's Programming Room
Kids ages 6 - 13 years old are invited to bring a one gallon re-closable storage bag of their own building bricks to the Library. Each child will have 45 minutes to create something around the theme that will be announced that afternoon, or they can free-build!
We do not have LEGOs for everyone, children must bring their own.
