The Georgetown Township Public Library will be open for use at 10 am on Wednesday, October30!
Many thanks to the Georgetown Township Board of Trustees for their vision of this great new facility!
While the Library is opening ahead of the original goal of Christmas time, there are still many things that need to be completed. The parking lot will not be ready for a little while longer. There will be a few parking spots available in front of the new building. Those may be accessed by coming through the north entrance to the Township Office parking lot. Otherwise users may park in the Township parking lot and go through the building connector, until 5 pm, or park at Ridgewood Church and walk across the parking area. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
There will be some ongoing work within the Library as well. There will be some finishing touches that will be added over the next couple of weeks. The Library staff thanks you for your patience while this process is completed.
There is a temporary drop box located in the parking loop in front of the new building. Feel free to drop all Library material in that box until the permanent drive up drop boxes are completed.
